Bulldogs: 2 – Bz: More

Recaps! So much easier than a Top 10 List: no need to be creative, not everything has to be funny. You arent forced to come up with a preset number of things to mention – you can just recap things you saw or remember and end it when you find something better to do. Like Black Ops 2 for PC! Which is eerily similair to playing the Bulldogs, actually. Dont worry, I will bring it all together for you, never you fear.

Black Ops 2 As Bladezillas HC

Mr. Zilla, like Bz on the ice, is a cold-hearted and unstoppable killing machine. This week, anyway.  Whereas the Bladezillas took some time (5 years) to get their shit together I had zero difficulty online this weekend. “There is a learning curve, Mr. Zilla” my nerdier friends told me. So little faith, so many killsreaks. Bz and I met in the middle this week in game and on ice: understimulation leads to meta-games and sport killings.

You can only kill so many people with an assault rife before it becomes inane. Sure, 8 straight kills and I get a quad-copter-thing and yeah murdering people on a screen on a screen gets me hard, but after awhile… My rifle has a reflex scope and a laser sight now. How does that even work? So it was no great shock that at midnight last night I played for 2 hours with only a pistol. Burst fire. Laser sight and extended clip and I could not be touched. I should not lead a round like this! I should not go 19-5 with a hand gun when people have futuristic ak-47s knockoffs. Its absurd, and this is exactly how it felt on the ice Saturday. No matter what we did we came out on top. That wasnt the best game we have played lately and it didnt matter in the least, all we had to do was stay entertained. achievments unlocked:

Will not used to being up so early for hockey? Dont feel like skating all the way? Score on a slap shot from outside the blue line.

Justin “Skates Are Dangerous!” Doyle got a penalty for icing the goalie’s face then, coming out of the box, fell 3 times on the next shift.

We killed a 5 on 3 without a great deal of strain.

Jaime scored short handed on a break away. Jason Martin style?

Jaime got ~6 points.

Dewey also had a break away but decided it was harder to hit the post than to score.

Pat decided to play goalie from behind the net. Adam decided he then was the goalie, bravely stood in Pat’s place.

Rob realized he had lots of goals, had never hit Dan in the face with a puck.

Bz. Note: It seems like Mike “The 3rd” Richards is back and will be playing with us on the 26th. Mark your calendars, dust off your blu ray SE of 2012.
