The Bladezillas (2012–present)

Jamie “The Relentless Rookie” Wright. It feels like he has been here forever – maybe he has! But in our heart(s) he is still our Rookie. Oh, you thought “Relentless” meant his fore and backchecking? How polite of you, but know. Also? No one calls him that. Blog joke. Artistic license, if you will.

Jamie or, as we like to call him, Jaime, has turned out to be our shot in our arm, our mad dog on a long leash (not to be confused with Adam, our mad dog on a short leash). He forchecks hard, he rushes back when he has to, and he takes faceoffs! What else can a guy do?

He scores. The Heir Apparent to Brian Giorgio's then-patented “I See The Net Head Down Hard Hard Cut Outside Inside Score!” move. He can even pass when the play slows down – or lets Stephen Halverson’s passes bounce off him, whatever, right? Its pretty awesome.

Jamie has become a staple at Bz extra-curriculars, BBQs or Bz Birthday Paintball.
